If Facebook were a country it would be the 4th largest in the world.
Many practices are finding themselves pondering the question, can social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter & Linked-In really help me market my practice? Should I get in the game, or is it just a passing trend?
Here are some statistics we think you should know:
- The fastest growing segment on Facebook is 55-65 year old females.
- 80% of Twitter usage is on mobile devices. People can update anywhere, anytime. Imagine what that means for poor customer service.
- There are 200,000,000 blogs on the internet and counting. 54% of bloggers post content and tweets daily.
- 34% of bloggers post reviews about product/service brands. Do you like what they are saying about your brand? Do you even know?
- 78% of consumers trust peer recommendations. Only 14% trust advertisements.
- Only 18% of traditional T.V. campaigns generate a positive R.O.I.
- 90% of people that can Tivo (skip over) television ads do!
